In addition to salt and iron, vine was also considered to be one of the essential commodities for merchant families in the 16th century.

Our partner, the Papageno restaurant, is housed in this building, which was built in 1547 and features an impressive vaulted ceiling.

The restaurant is eager to keep the tradition alive and also offers excellent wines as a complement to its delicious variety of meals. The Weinstadel, with its beautiful patio outside is directly situated in the old town of Regensburg near the Danube.
